1. Identify the operator and licence
We record the operating company, registration details, published address, licence authority and licence number, then compare those claims with an official register where one is available.
Location access is checked separately. A global licence claim does not establish Ontario-regulated status or uniform availability across Canada.
2. Read the account policies
Terms, privacy, complaints, identity checks, account closure and responsible-gambling material are reviewed for specific rules and contradictions. A missing or inconsistent answer lowers confidence.
3. Separate promotions from scoring
The offer, code, minimum deposit, wagering base, contribution, maximum bet, eligibility, withdrawal effects and expiry mechanics are stored as commercial information beside a source date.
The headline amount does not enter the scoring formula.
4. Assess payments, games, mobile and support
We document payment categories, withdrawal conditions, games, providers, mobile access and support channels from current official pages.
Desk research is not described as a funded deposit, withdrawal or support test. When a transaction has not been completed, the review says so.
5. Score, edit and schedule the next check
Category notes are translated into scores, the weighted total is calculated and the verdict is checked against the stated disadvantages. The review then receives a weekly offer-check date and a quarterly full-review date.
